Arrested for robbing gas agency's car in Azamgarh: A day earlier, the main accused of 28 cases were arrested by the police in an encounter

On April 5, the police of Azamgarh district arrested the main accused who robbed the gas agency's vehicle in an encounter on April 26. Another accused, Vishal Singh, son of Mahendra Singh, resident of Hamirpur police station Powai, who was an informer, in this case, has been arrested by the district police today.


In this case, one accused Rahul Mishra is still absconding, in search of whom the police are continuously raiding. The main accused in this case, Ramkripal Singh's son Aadya Prasad Singh Sakin, Angraghat police station, Jaitpur district, Ambedkar Nagar, was arrested a day ago by the police.

Police said that the arrested accused Vishal Singh told during interrogation that I and my partner Rahul Mishra had looted 28840 rupees by stopping the gas agency's vehicle and putting a pistol. After that, we ran away. The police of the district were continuously engaged in the disclosure of this matter.


The main accused have 28 criminal cases registered against them in Azamgarh and Ambedkarnagar districts. In these cases, 15 cases are registered in Azamgarh district and 13 in Ambedkar Nagar, in serious cases including murder, attempt to murder, and conspiracy. One accused is still absconding, and will soon be arrested and sent to jail.
